I think BJP is absolutely right in objecting to the pictures of Mrs Sonia Gandhi appearing in the advertisements placed by the Government of India or its agencies It is a very wrong practice and should be avoided. This principle should extend to all political outfits in power.. First of all, Mrs Sonia Gandhi is only a manager of a political party She is holding no official postion within the present ruling administration. and can not speak on behalf of the administration one way or the other. If the present Congress does not have any photogenic faces in the party then they should not use Mrs Sonia Gandhi's face just becasue of its photogenic qualities,.as a promotor of products or services or projects. This practice goes back to pre 1947 era.and should dis Devinder Thakur
2. My Take:Congress has broken with Hindu ( Indian ) symbols, and has formed its own cult, of observing rites of worshipping their white overlords. Placing emphasis on lighter-skin persons, rather than on devotion & dedication, to the betterment of India, is a rearward action. Congress seems to be somersaulting backward, toward pre-1947 era. It is a collection of thinking that Congress incorporates in itself.
3. Congress is on the wrong side, its thinking is reversed & remiss. Slow-witted Congressites would be well-advised, to get out of their retrogressive thinking, move frontward, and do something for the good of India.
