A Bishop advises his congregation to shop-lift

Subj: A Bishop advises his congregation to shop-lift
1.Attriji

Namaskaar

TheTimes, Londonof 22nd Dec carried a report that a Bishop in North Yorkshire has advised his flock that they shouild
resort to shop-lifting. He was rather selective in his approach. He asked diasadvantaged (Wagesless and poor) people
to do so and that also at bigs upermarket/stores. He further clarified that this course is better than prostitution.

The Police Authorities were concerned that such a "sermon" should come from a Church holyman. The Business Community
were furious that they should be targetted like this, when as a Citizen they pay legitimate taxes for the relief of the down-troddens.

In Christianity, one of the Commanments: Thy shall not steal appears to have been replaced by this Bishop with:
Thy shall Shop-lift!

Attriji, to me it does not appear to be unique idea.

In this modern age Christianity cannot remain unscientifivc. In India poor people are enticed to covert to Christianity
in the name of egalitarianism and after conversions they are asked/encouraged to beg as Dalits!

2. My Take:
Namaskar to you also, Chaudhari Sahib:

3. Yes, this Bishop, Father Tim Jones, is advising his congregation to shop-lift. For this, he has been criticized as " highly irresponsible. " Says Father Jones:
" stealing from large chains ( not from small ones ), is sometimes the best option for vulnerable people. "
Is he the bandit of Sherwood Forest, Robin Hood , robbing the rich to give it to the poor ? Hardly !
Father Jones is no hood ( hoodlum). He is confronting a diabolical puzzle, for which his
Christianity has no real clue. That is his problem.

4. But isn't there a Biblical-Commandment against stealing ? Yes, there is. But this particular commandment is as obligatory, as are the other nine. In fact, these ten commandments are as hollow as a drum. Why so ?
Because there is no foundation or stone-work of accountability in Christianity.

5. To intents & purposes, Biblical-Commandments are Mere Metaphors. Christians use metaphors all over the place ( believe you me ). Additions, subtractions, and modifications are worked out, all the time. For instance, a Biblical-Commandment says:
" Love they neighbor..... "

A Christian modification of this is:
" Love thy neighbor & his wife "

You don't have to be a rocket-scientist to see that, suitable derivatives can be worked out, to meet the needs of the situation.

6. Now look at the Hindu System: Hinduism confronts evil Head-On. Hinduism puts man in the Driver's Seat, and holds him responsible for all his deeds, good as well bad. A Hindu rises by good deeds & falls by evil deeds. This is the Hindu Principle of Karma & Re-Incarnation. There is nothing like this principle in either Islam or Christianity.

In daily life, Christians hear the narrative:
" As you sow, so shall you reap ( that is what Karma essentially is ). "

But their clergy forbids them to utter " Karma ," because Karma is the work of the Devil.

7. Then how does Christianity deal with evil ?
Answer: Christianity does Not deal with evil at all. Christianity blames all evil, on a totally-imaginary creature, which it names as the Devil ( Satan ).

8. Another Christian mischief: Christianity sedulously trains its Christians as " Pass The Buck Artists ."
A Christian commits crime/sin, and his leader Jesus Christ, pays for his crime. The Christian does not have to worry about payment. He goes back to crime, and passes the buck again to Jesus Christ.
9. Another Christian mischief: The Confessional.
A Christian goes to his priest & confesses his crime. Once this is done, he considers himself free. He returns to crime & repeats Confessional.

10. To put it simply, derivatives of Biblical-Commandments, dominate the life of Christians. No rule nor any commandment really applies in Christianity.

11. Quote: Attriji, to me it does not appear to be unique idea.
COMMENT: Chaudhari Sahib: No it is not. In fact, there is nothing Unique in Christianity. Stories of the Bible itself, are theological-derivatives of Arabian Night Stories ( that have been making the rounds of Arabia for thousands of years ).

12. Quote: In this modern age Christianity cannot remain unscientifivc

COMMENT: Christianity has done pretty well for itself for 2000 years, with its unscientific apparatus. Why should it change ?
But if it did, then the attendant attitudes of questioning, to seek the truth, and reject the falsehood, would bring about the end of Christianity. Christian Clergy knows this. And they are Not going to cut their own throat.

13. Quote: In India poor people are enticed to covert to Christianity
in the name of egalitarianism and after conversions they are asked/encouraged to beg as Dalits!

COMMENT: Christianity & its Bible, are a bunch of Lies, and Christian-Clergy, are Blithering-Idiots. It is a pity that, Hindus are Not counter-attacking to annihilate their BS.
